This app collects nothing.
Not "nothing personal", not "nothing identifiable", and not "nothing we sell on". Nothing. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising identifier, and no server for any of it to go to.
What it stores, and where
Everything you type in — your tub, your readings, the chemicals you have added, your soaks and your filter changes — is written to storage on your phone and stays there. It is not copied anywhere. If you delete the app, it is gone.
That is also why the app can back up and export: the only copy is yours, so getting a copy out has to be something you can do yourself. Both are in Settings under Your data, and both put the file exactly where you send it and nowhere else.
What it sends
No part of this app makes a network request. There is nothing in it that could: it holds no server address, no API key and no analytics library.
This is checked rather than promised. npm run check fails the build if a network call appears anywhere in the source, so the sentence above cannot quietly stop being true six months from now — whoever adds one has to change this page first.
Notifications
If you turn reminders on, the app schedules them on your phone. They are local notifications: nothing leaves the device and no push service is involved. Turning them off, or refusing the permission, changes nothing else about how the app works.
Sharing a file
When you export, back up, or send a report about a dose, the app hands the file to iOS and iOS shows you the share sheet. Where it goes from there is entirely your choice — this app never sends anything on your behalf, and never sees where you sent it.
Children
There is nothing to collect from anybody, of any age.
Changes
If this ever changes, it changes here first, and the version in the app changes with it.
